About Me
Abigail Plaskett is a Toronto-based photographer and fourth-year student at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she is currently developing her thesis project. She has photographed a wide range of events including weddings, proms, dance showcases, and professional networking gatherings. While her experience spans editorial, sports, event, and documentary photography, her true passion lies in capturing people.
Curious and creative, Abigail loves experimenting with new techniques and concepts, using them to expand her vision and find fresh ways of telling stories. This openness has shaped her ability to collaborate, adapt on set, and bring out authentic moments in her subjects.
Her love for photography began in childhood and flourished during high school, evolving into a lifelong commitment to the art of photography. Abigail is drawn to documenting not only life’s big milestones but also the moments in-between that often go unnoticed. Believing every image holds a story, she strives to create photographs that allow people to express themselves in meaningful and lasting ways.
